Question HDMI signal not outputting from PC

Hi, this is my first post so tell me if I'm doing this incorrectly. My PC has been out of commission for roughly a week, it has not been sending a signal through the HDMI cable. I know that the HDMI cable works not to mention I know the monitor works. The HDMI port does not look damaged and I connected the HDMI cable to the GPU rather than the motherboard albeit I have tried using every single port on the monitor and PC. Because of this, I can't access a display and therefore can't even attempt to fix it software wise. I suspect that the issue is to do with the drivers or something since two days before I had this issue, I reset my BIOS and all the hardware is functional(to my knowledge). I'm currently looking for a way where I can reset the drivers on my PC without having to wipe the data off my Hard drive, if that is inevitable, I would at least want to know how I could back up the hard drive without a display 😅. As for the screen on the monitor, it just displays "NO SIGNAL" on a blue screen meaning that BIOS isn't even loading since if it was, the screen would flicker black.

If anyone has any advice for this please let me know. I'm currently attempting to contact the people who've made the PCI

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.

If this is indeed a prebuilt akin to a Lenovo/HP or their ilk, please pas son the make and model of the prebuilt alongside the SKU to the system. If you got the system built then a link to the build would suffice.

Here is all the specs. Processor
1 x AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 3.8GHz (4.6GHz Turbo) Octa-Core CPU (Free Warframe: G-Series Pack)
Cooling
1 x Cooler Master Hyper H412R CPU Cooler
Graphics Card
1 x NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB Graphics Card
Memory/RAM
1 x 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz DDR4 Memory (2 x 8GB)
M.2 Super-fast SSD
1 x 500GB WD Black SN750 NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive
Solid State Drives
1 x No Solid State Drive
Hard Drives
1 x 2TB Seagate BarraCuda Hard Drive
Motherboard
1 x ASUS PRIME B550M-K Motherboard
Power Supply
1 x Game Max 550W Modular RGB Gold Power Supply

Have you tried booting with the 2 Seagate drives disconnected?
Have you tried booting with no drives connected to see if you can get into the BIOS?
Hi, the monitor would flicker if you could get into the BIOS, even without a signal(to my knowledge). Also, I can't remove the hard drive because there's these disgusting screws which I can't remove. Trust me, I've tried alot.

Have you cleared the CMOS?
Have you tried booting with the HDD disconnected?
Was the video card removed when you tried booting with the onboard graphics?
If you need to you can always create a bootable Linux USB key to access the hard drives without booting into Windows.

YEP I cleared the CMOS, as I said, I can't remove the HDD because of some strange screws. I tried with and without the GPU. Can you further explain the Linux USB Key to me? It may be worth a shot.

Step 0.5, after you turn on your PC, wait 30 seconds and then turn the monitor off then on... Some monitors get stuck in standby mode.

Is your BIOS beeping at all? If not, it could be your system is hanging before it even POSTs before it even sends a signal to the monitor to wake it up. Was your BIOS beeping prior to this issue? Some motherboards don't have a beep speaker installed, or its turned off in the BIOS.

But, not beeping when it should should (assuming that function is switched on) could mean a few things. If its beeping once, and then your hard drive light starts flickering, then its trying to boot, which tells me its probably the HDMI cable. If its not beeping at all (and the hard drive light isn't flickering), or if its beeping more than once, that is hardware related vs a dud HDMI cable. The number and pattern of multiple beeps will indicate the type of error.

Step 1) Unless you'd be willing to bet the lives of your family on the goodness of that HDMI cable, try a new cable. Yours might be 'good', but the only way to be 100% certain is to try a different one.

Step 2) Remove the videocard, use blower to dust the PCIe slot, and reinstall your videocard. It could be dust or it could have just wiggled slightly loose, or have an intermittent connection. I have a cable connecting my card to the PCIe slot since I mount my card vertically and have to unplug/replug the card in about every 6 months for this reason.

If none of that works, borrow a videocard and see if that works in your PC. If not, then its another hardware issue. Possible the CMOS, possibly RAM that needs to be reseated or tested one DIMM at a time, etc.

To create the Linux USB drive you just need to download a free copy of Linux Mint from there website and download Etcher to create the bootable USB drive. The video link below give you a step by step guide but there are many others on YouTube.

Hi, the first one does not work. It used to beep and now does not. My HDMI cable works since I tried using it with another device and it was fine. I tried plenty of HDMI cables as well as VGA. My PC does not get a lot of dust and I regularly maintain it anyways so that's not an issue. I don't understand why you think I can just readily borrow a gpu 😭. I for one, think it's a motherboard issue. Currently, I am in contact with the maker of the PC to see if I can get it repaired under warrantee however, I suspect that the reason this has occurred is due to wear and tear from overclocking ; leading two of the fans in the PC to stop working and then overheating the whole rig till it eventually had enough.

Is this a prebuilt? You said "maker" above but didn't answer the question. And if so, what model is this? And if not, what case are you using? I'm unfamiliar with any desktop PC that truly has "weird screws" so that hard drives can't be removed or screws that prevent you from even reaching the power and data cables. Could you elaborate on this? Could you upload a picture of this and post the link here?

One problem here is that *you* can see what's going on, but we can't. Unless you *tell* us what you're seeing or *show* us what you're seeing, we can't see it.

Sorry, its a Tecware Forge M Black ARGB Gaming PC Case

There are no "weird screws" that come in this case that would prevent you from doing anything that's been suggested so far. Nor are there "weird screws" in this case that prevent you from opening the panel, which would allow you to access the ports on the drives to disconnect them. The only way there would be odd screws is if someone put them there.

So what *do* these screws look like?

Yeah it's a prebuilt. This is after all the prebuilt category. What question did I not answer? I do not recall nor see anything about the "maker". This is from a place called FiercePC which you likely do not know of. It's a prebuilt however, it's customised. The screws are circular and I've seen a similar one on reddit. My issue is that I can't tell between the power supply& the hard drive SATAs. Here's some pictures: https://ibb.co/J5rQGdm

The first picture is showing where the hard drive is, next to the GPU. The second pictures shows the nail I'm speaking of and the third picture shows the hard drive from a different perspective.

The only "circular" screws I see are the rivets that physically hold the case's structure together. You don't need to remove them to open the back panel or access drives. The possibility exists that the low resolution keeps me from seeing what's going on here exactly; hopefully someone else has a better idea if I'm mistaken from the photo.

Pardon me if you do not necessarily think that these screws are weird but to me they are. I have absolutely no clue how to remove these and the Internet is of little help. They seem to be rivets supposedly but I am dubious. Perhaps I am in a position of mass ignorance however I don't think so. Then again, I'm on this forum for a reason.

Oh yes that's Indeed what I am speaking of. How would I go about accessing them then? Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with a higher resolution photo to me, it is clear. https://ibb.co/SvHpghw I've looked for tutorials as to how to remove the harddrive but none of them are applicable.
