i wonder why the jumper , if set manually , to anything other than "by cpu"
the computer won't boot? if left to manual , and set timing in bios to 166
(333 ) it boots as it should to XP2500+ AMD but WinXP says it is running @
1866 MHz--that seems slow , i think i had a 2400XP(266 FSB) that ran at 2.1
MHz?? if i try to set jumper FIDJP1 to 7.5 X 33 = 2500 , computer won't
boot, or for any other shorted jumper multipliers it won't boot , even after
clearing cmos each time , and / or setting bios to manual?? any thoughts??
thank you
