Its a 550w. What do you reccomend?

I disagree. The GTX 660 and Radeon 7870 perform pretty similar. The difference is about 5-7%, to the Radeon 7870. But keep in mind GTX 660 is also cheaper in most cases. So performance pr. dollar shouldn't be that different.

It's about what games you play and if you like to get the best Technologies, which comes with the GTX 660 (FXAA, TXAA, physx, cuda)

GTX 660 is better in such games as BF3, Borderlands and metro 2033.
While Radeon 7870 is better in Far Cry, Dirt and the old Crysis games.

The Radeon 7870 is better to overclock, but I don't know if that is your deal.

I would say go with Radeon 7870 if you're going to overclock, if not then the GTX 660, because of the boost Technology.

I recommend you the GTX 660.

I recently bought a GTX 660 and maxing out every game I throw at it!

If you prefer nVidia and the new features in the 600 series cards go for it.

or else go for the HD 7870 if you're hoping to overclock (But I'm not sure you can overclock with a B75 motherboard :/ , I'm not sure though)

Just no, the 7870 will be better:

Only buy the 660 gtx if the price difference is in favor of the 660 gtx and by a substantial margin.
But in the shops the 7870 is at the same price, and in some deal even cheaper, so the 7870 is the card to get

I too got the 660, and yes It maxes everything. I got a 75b mobo, and it won't overclock, it can but it's not meant to, so damage to the components could happen. :)

Bluebeanie, choose what brand you favor most. The difference is so small that you won't even notice. Both Cards are good deals, so good luke, mate! :)

Yes, true.

the choice up to you Bluebeanie, we are here to suggest you the best out of your money.

Its your money and choice after all :)

There is not much difference between 660 and the 7870.

Because of your B75 mobo, you cannot overlock ( thanks lostgamer_03 for confirming that the B75 cannot overclock).

Good Luck. :)
