Hello , i have
5950x
asus tuf plus wifi x570
4x32gb trident 3600
i want to go for a good high everyday clock. i do a lot of vfx and color work

was doing some test with cine bench r20 and r 23.
on r 23 it would show up as 3.4ghz when i OC'd on Ryzen mster.
when i did my own quick OC (without ryzen master) i got all core up to 4.5ghz with a score of 28801
and a single core of 1473
with r20 all core was 11364
single core was between 576 and 611
i feel like it can go farther just dont know exactly how to go about it or if im doing it correctly.
i get temps from 36(idle and single core load) all the way to all under load at 86c

what bios settings should i be at and focus on

Solution
haha no not just gamming, mainly using fusion/unreal/resolve
i have a corsair h150i hooked up.

I'm not a big OC fan on Ryzen CPU. I seen people OC their CPU just to get lower scores than before. I would just leave it at auto and enjoy that 5950X.

You do not need that OC. You have the best Ryzen 5000 CPU. It will destroy anything you throw at it really.

shortly after posting this system became unstable. i got it to be stable around 4ghz with a r23 all core score of 26074

I think you have a good enough system that you don't need to OC it. In the software you're using that OC will translate in 1 second. Not really important.

I hope that system is not only a gaming system because it is way overkill if it is.

What is your CPU cooler?
