Hello, I am Yui and I play competitive overwatch and apex legends ..... I expect my pc to be at a max performance at 1080p.
I have done some research and I asked for suggestions from other players and made a list.
I need a CPU and Motherboard
Currently, I own a gtx1070 and I am planning to upgrade to a 3070 soon.

1. i7 10700K and MSI z490 Tomahawk ($675)

2. i7 10700 and MSI B460 Tomahawk ($560)

3. i9 9900k and z390 ($680)

4. Ryzen 5 5600x and Asus ROG Strix B550-A ($640)

5. Ryzen 7 5800x and Asus ROG Strix B550-A ($730)

I am confused about which one should I buy... I need a solid built which can stand for at least a couple of years. And is it worth spending money on Ryzen 7. If you guys have any better options let me know... and I don't want an i5 or intel 11th gen. If it's better in any aspect I need your advice

Go with option 4. That's going to be the best bang for buck. I also play competitive and only use 1080p. Pairing that with a 3070 will be able to run anything. Just remember that Ryzen gets higher FPS with higher frequency RAM. So 3200mhz or more will work better.

cuz ryzen only have 6 cores... so will it cause any bottleneck issues with the gpu?
