Hi,
I recently upgraded my pc since my old CPU was bottlenecking my GPU. I upgraded as:
Processor: i7-14700 from i9-9900k.
GPU: RTX 2080Ti 11GB (Same as before)
New Motherboard: MSI MAG Mortar B760M WIFI II
New Ram: Gskill Ripjaws S5 32GB (2 sticks) 6000MHZ DDR5 CL36
Monitor: 1920x1080 - 240Hz (FPS Capped at 238)
SSD: WD BLUE SN580 1TB
PSU- Corsair RM1000x
Corsair H100i Pro AIO
G-sync and V-sync - Tried all combinations of on & off
The game (All games I play, its not with only a single game) is installed on a ssd. The issue I am facing is that suddenly in few seconds the fps drops from 238 to 200 and a strong stutter is present.
What I already did:
- reinstalled old, new NVIDIA drivers
- reinstalled clean windows entirely
- turned off all unnecessary background processes
- optimized windows (Issue was there before it and still there after this)
- Tried capping from nvidia control panel, rtss, ingame, game config files
- CPU is being used 50-55% only with temps till 64-70 cel
- GPU is being used about 80-90% (depending on graphics quality i keep)
- XMP in ram is on so 6000MHz is active
- Most played games: Rainbow Six Siege, Genshin Impact, Elden Ring, Battlefield, RDR2, Warframe (Stutter is always there with random frame dips)
