powersupply a corsair cx(m) 550 or seasonic focus 550w (60 dollar) defenetly worth it..

ryzen 5 comes with a stock cooler with preapplied thermal paste.

last you will need to ask to store to flash the bios for you.

I understand what you're saying with everything, except for the last sentence. I know AMD would send me an older cpu so that I could run the system to flash the bios and then I'd be able to use my CPU, the problem is, I don't understand exactly what "ask to store to flash the bios for you" means.

Well the cpu is newer than the motherboard, you will get no screen with your current cpu.
if the store flashes it for you (10 dollars) it works straight out of the box and u dont need to ask amd for a boot kit.

ofc u can still ask amd for a boot kit, but this can slow you down a week(shipping times).

down the line if I were to get a gtx 1050ti or a 1060, would a 550 psu be enough to power the rig (using 2x4gb sticks) and a gpu?
