Hello all, hope I'm posting this in the right place! I'm planning on starting from scratch with a new gaming pc. Main reason is that my current build will be unable to handle playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I'd also like to play games I missed out on such as Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. Is there anything I should be wary of or that I missed in this build? I really have no idea how well the components will hold up, in all honesty I'm very rusty, I just picked from the highly rated ones on pcpartpicker.com. I'd like to get a decent build on as much of a budget as possible.
Here's a link to the completed build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nWMrz6

That PSU is a fire hazard for starters. Apevia makes some of the worst PSU's on the market. I do not see a case in your build, so I will add one. Do you really need an optical drive? You can install windows via USB drive these days using Windows media creation tool.

I would run Windows unlicensed for now, and put your budget towards hardware. You can run unlicense and still get security updates. Just have to deal with a semi annoying watermark, and lose some customization.

8GB vram is going to become a problem in modern titles sooner rather than later. I wouldn't do less than a 12gb card.

5800x is a nice chip, but for gaming the 5700x3d is much better. You will want SSD storage for your games, so I ditched the HDD for a 2tb SSD.

The PSU I chose is more than you need, now, but gives you some room to grow.

Another build idea. Ditched the 1tb ssd, for a 2tb ssd, for an even faster graphics card.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
I'm planning on using the 2tb hdd from my old build so that's why it's not switched out for an SSD. Also yes, forgot to include a case! Coincidentally had my eye on the one you guys picked out!
Here's an updated part list, I tried to take everyone's suggestions into account!
Edit: changed memory https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7K8qxH

The MP44 I chose is faster, and cheaper than that WD SN770, which is why I chose it. The cooler comes with thermal paste, so you technically don't need it. If you want it, just to have something better, I would choose the newer Arctic MX6.

Some thoughts:
Coolers will come with good paste. AS5 is not needed.

Do you have external backup for what you value?
If not, repurpose your HDD as an external backup and start with just a single 2tb m.2 ssd if that is sufficient capacity.

Looks nice, you had lots of good examples up there.

If you live near a Microcenter don't forget to check their combos/deals.
