Help with Upgrade

I am thinking of upgrading my GPU and monitor in the summer. The monitor would probably be 19-21 inches and the GPU HAS TO BE ATI. Just a fan of ATI lol. Now i am thinking of about MAXX 150 buks GPU.

(do not need any suggestions on a monitor)

I want to run games on full resolution on Very High or so.....

the 5750 is no good if you wanna max everything out, and yes ALL 5xxx series are DX11

By the summer a 5770 should be well within your price range. You might even be able to move up to a better card, or a crossfire configuration with cheaper cards by then.

5750 would be just fine for almost all games--we were responding to you desire to run everything at very high settings... and 5770 will be the best in your price range if it falls like $15.

5750 isn't good if you wanna max everything out, it'll maybe ok for 1280x1024 but not even at that it'll max like dirt2 or MW2 at 60fps.

even worse if you wanna go for a 21".


5750 is ok for mainstream gamers playing at med settings and decent res, but not to max every single game.

You seem to have your mind set on HD5750 it is by no means a bad card.
Buy the dam thing!

For only sightly more money they 5770 is a MUCH better deal then the 5750.
