So I just built a new pc and I'm getting some crazy temps, getting about 60-70c with only 5% load just idle on the desktop and when gaming its going to about 89% and haven't played any longer to not let it go any higher so that's about 10 minutes of gaming.

The Cooler is mounted on the top of the case with the fans blowing up and out the pc through the radiator and the coolant temp sits at about 25-29.
this is the first time I have ever used water cooling so any help would be apricated.

the cooler i just bought is.

CORSAIR iCUE H150i RGB ELITE 360mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler

and the CPU I bought is

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

I have used 3 different programs to check that the temps are correct and they all say the same I used ryzen master, icue and open hardware master.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

How is the AIO mounted in your case?

BIOS version f21
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X670E-AORUS-MASTER-rev-1x/support#support-dl-bios
You have BIOS versions pending update, flash the BIOS tot he latest version F32a, then clear the CMOS and then see if that helps.

The cooler being mounted to the top isn't a hindrance, but how are the fans oriented in the case? The image isn't clear enough to make out if the fans are set to push or pull on the radiator.

The rams should be in slots A2 and B2, per your manual, not per your picture.

Two thoughts to check.

1. Tell us what CASE VENT fans you have, where they are located, and whether intake or exhaust.

2. Corsair does something different in iCUE for the AIO systems. Most such systems run the pump at full speed all the time and use ONLY rad fan speed to control CPU cooling. iCUE actually has a user-adjustable setting for the fixed pump speed. Ideally YOU decide what speed it needs to be to ensure proper cooling at all workloads you normally use, and that MAY be less than full speed. Look in iCUE for the PUMP speed setting. If it is NOT full speed, try that first. If the gives all you need or more, you can experiment with a slower pump speed.
