Question Home network gone after Mesh upgrade

I have a Wifi Modem and one Desktop and one Laptop Computer. Computers were part of a Home Network for File sync and Remote Desktop. I wanted a better Wifi coverage so I bought a Mesh system. The Mesh system is in Router mode, first Satellite connected via Cable. I disabled Wifi Network on Modem, new Wifi is strong, both Laptop and Smartphone connect without issue. The problem is, my Home Network is gone. On my Desktop I can only see my Desktop and on my Laptop only Laptop is visible. How do I make Mesh and its Devices (Laptop) part of the Network again?

IP range probably changed.

Go to Windows/Settings/Networok&Internet and make sure your PC and laptop ethernet/wifi's Network profile are on Private network.

Both private, same network name

Also make sure Network Discovery is on.

If you still can't see the other device, use ip address like \\192.168.1.10 in File Explorer

Solved. Had to plug my desktop cable in the Mesh. Network works. Probably because Mesh has no AP mode, only router and repeater.

Well, a wifi router = wired router (with LAN and WAN ports) + AP

An AP is just a wired switch with wifi but without WAN port for routing.
