[SOLVED] How could I Improve my PC? (for making gaming videos)

Hi!, I make YouTube videos and my PC has been able to record and edit with no problem for a while but now its a little outdated and i'm starting to have some serious in-game frame dropping issues while I record. Also, when I edit, everything is pretty slow and laggy too. When I am not recording I have no problem playing games at a very high fps, its only when I record videos that these issues occur. What changes should I make to my PC to ensure that I can record at a decently high/good looking bit rate with no in-game lag, and also have the ability to edit videos without any issues as well. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

GeForce NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
Intel Core i5 4440 3.10 GHz
8 GB RAM

I would recommend you get an upgrade on the CPU, it isn't a bottle neck for gaming however when it comes to recording game footage it plays a crucial role.
Running your games off and SSD will make a difference as well.
