Question How do I disable a specific CPU core?

Quite simple question that I cant seem to find an answer for. I have determined that my CPU is currently failing due to many many test, my Fifth core (virtual core 10) keeps throwing errors and causing BSODs. As my processor ( I9-9900k) is still within its 3 year warranty I'm currently just waiting on support to get a replacement. in the mean while I want to disable said bad core and see if they system runs properly. Online I have found ways to limit the amount of cores my CPU uses but no way to disable a select core. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks

Windows lets you choose the number of cores to use (for example to save power), but I'm not sure whether it allows you to disable a specific core.

Refer to your motherboard manual(either the booklet or online).
The wording is a little different between the brands, but you'll have to navigate your bios' advanced mode to find it.
