How do i enable my desktop computer to recognise my wireless router using the ethernet port

An ethernet port is only good for a wired connection. You would need to run a cable from the port on your computer to the wireless router. To use your computer with a wireless connection you would need a wireless card.

Thanks for your response. I have connected my router to the etehrnet port but the computer just does not recognise the device. What do I do?
