How do i find out the motherboard type of my packard bell

Have a problem with "no mixer devices installed" i.e. no system volume. So I have googled my way to needing to download and reinstall drivers for microsoft UAA Bus Driver for high definition audio. Hence my need to find out some way of knowing my mobo make and type.

Anyone out there that might know ? .......sure would appreciate any help.

What is your Packard bell model no.?
with that model number, go to Packard bell Support site, download the latest drivers for XP.
or you can get the chip details from the site, go to manufacturer's download drivers directly from manufacturer's site also.
