Hi,

One of my customers is running a Windows XP service pack 2 machine,
with Internet Explorer 6 sp1 as the browser. She needs to download
multiple images off a web page at a time. She used to use 'Mass
Downloader' which would download various images through the hyperlinks
on the page. However, she is increasingly finding that she cannot use
this program to download all content linked via URLs to a certain page;
because instead of opening up into jpegs, they are opening up into new
webpages containing the jpeg (which she can then 'right click' and
save). This is rather time consuming, so she asked me is there is
anyway of getting all links on a page to open at once in different
windows, so she can go through them and save the links. For her post
(as a voluntary multimedia teaching assistant for a charity), she uses
a very large nuumber of images and is trying to find a less cumbersome
route to getting them.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

QH

Get a copy of Avant Browser. This is an IE shell (uses IE's favorites and
rendering engine) and supports tabbed browsing as well as many other nice
features. You can simply right click on a page and select "open al links on
this page". You will be presented with a dialog box listing all links. You
can deselect any you don't want and the rest will open in seperate windows.
It's free and just over 1MB in size. Give it a try <www.avantbrowser.com>.
It has no spyware and won't mess with your current IE settings.
