I have a Gigabyte X58-USB3 motherboard, and I installed the drivers, im running windows 7 64 bit, and I cant get my usb 3.0 flash drive to show up in windows when I connect it? When I plug it in, it flashes for about 4 seconds, but does not show up in windows, help??

Thanks!

Its a USB 3.0 Flash Drive Stick, that does Not Work in the USB 3.0 port, in fact nothing that i connect to the USB 3.0 port seems to work, so there must be some way to enable it in bios then? Never done that before, I guess on start up i press F8?? or F2? maby "esc"?

thanks

Okay, I will try. I already downloaded all the latest drivers, and windows updates, What do i look for in "device manager"?

YEs, I have 2 usb3 ports, niether works

I have the same issue for that motherboard. My new WD passport 3.0 will refuse to work on the 3.0 USB ports. It will work fine on usb 2.0 and the usb 3.0 my laptop has. The new 3.0 driver from Gigabyte does nothing. Bios 3.0 is enabled too. Has anyone found a solution? Sorry for the late post.
