How to connect a monitor with a DP output to a capture card with HDMI input

Hello guys,
i am looking to buy this monitor (Dell U2515H) that comes with a DisplayPort output and i want to stream directly from my monitor. I have a capture card (avermedia) but it only has HDMI input.
Is there any way (using adapter or something) to converter the output from DP to HDMI and make it work with my capture card?

Hook up the capture card as a separate connection, and then set the screens to duplicate mode in Windows.

Your GPU most probably has more than one video output. Connect your monitor to GPU over DP, connect your capture device to GPU over HDMI. In Windows, set both "monitors" to "mirror / duplicate".
