Hello,
My old Dell T3400 is starting to grind to a halt. Unfortunately it is the PC I use for home recording and was wondering if I might be able to use the sound card externally on my HP laptop? It doesn't have to be a fancy casing, it's more the adapter that I am looking to find. When I try to google for an adapter I end up getting lost and out of my depth.
Is it possible to connect an M-Audio 1010LT soundcard (PCI) to an HP Elitebook 8570w?
Here's what the soundcard looks like - https://www.gearslutz.com/board/reviews/715065-m-audio-delta-1010lt.html
And here's the spec for the Elitebook - http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03905828.pdf. It has eSata, ExpressCard, USB2 and USB3 ports.
Any help much appreciated!!
