How to load .bsp File

Archived from groups: alt.games.half-life.counterstrike (More info?)

Hi Guys,

I just downloaded two Files fpr practicing purposes (tr_target.bsp and
tr_weapons.bsp), but I don´t know how to load these files with cs
1.6!?!

I tried copying them into the "maps"-Folder, but then I get an error
message "Error cannot load wad-file"

Anyone with a suggestion?

Sounds like you need to locate and download a special .wad file that the
custom maps you've got use.
The wad files go in the C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\<your account
name>\counter-strike\cstrike folder.
Make a note of the wad file names it says you are missing and try do a
google search for them.
