Need MUCH more detail on what you're trying to do.I need ur help guys, i wanna create a main memory, what i should consider from the existing ones and from where to start? maybe someone already tried or trying and can give any advice to me
aight, but even without a prototype, from where to start a micro-architecture of it? cuz its so hard since u dont even know from where to start, even when i have enough theory in my headNeed MUCH more detail on what you're trying to do.
But to make your own RAM, start with a billion dollar fab plant.
maybe explain what in the h*ll you're talking about first?i wanna create a main memory
As said, more info needed. A LOT more.aight, but even without a prototype, from where to start a micro-architecture of it? cuz its so hard since u dont even know from where to start, even when i have enough theory in my head
im hoping to make a specialised processor for specialised purposes and for the prototype im planning to make it with xilinx fpga and i have a different microarchitecture and for that specialised processor, i will need to use a main memory, cache etc. however im planning to make the memorys database from nearly scratch and adapt into it. hope this explanation helps. i dont have a field experience unfortunately only theorymaybe explain what in the h*ll you're talking about first?
create a "main memory";
go outside and streak through your neighborhood naked screaming at the top of your lungs.
that would create a main memory for lots of people including yourself.
or do you mean something like;
memory for an android, apple, etc device?
memory for a personal computer?
memory for some sort of robot?
digital memory to add to your own physical body?

Starting with the "theory in your head".
i didnt say i have even close knowledge to make this happen, i told you that i only have the tools, which is the theory and understanding. if i knew things i wouldnt be here, and i didnt know this forum had such a toxic environment, and got sad for you honestly that you will never but ever get anywhere decent in this field. though you can become one of the programmers in the system like modern factory workers without knowing everything is possible. you can learn anything and hope you get these in a good way that im trying to change your perspective about how things work. btw after a quick search, i decided to get another fpga to make a memory using BRAM. for your closed minded perspective, im not making the actual machine, rather a prototype to see if it would be possible, and get investments. Continue to feed your fragile ego being the mighty admin and ban me. good daysYou don't have .0000001% of the knowledge (let alone the manufacturing required) to make this happen. You'll also need a couple of billion dollars to even get things off the ground. I'm getting the faint odor of troll wafting across the room.
i dont understand how expensive programming 2 fpga can be thats the thing i dont get it because with verilog people are doing this nearly every day from bachelor in college up to workers in the industry. yeah market is dominated but it was always like that and it will continue to be like thatWithout serious financial backing, this is doomed to fail. I applaud your persistence, but alas, that simply is not enough. This market is dominated by multibillion-dollar corporations.

Your lack of understanding contributes to the problem. This is not something you can start on your own; it never was. Your only 'real' opportunity is to join a company that specialises in what you are after.i dont understand how expensive programming 2 fpga can be thats the thing i dont get it because with verilog people are doing this nearly every day from bachelor in college up to workers in the industry. yeah market is dominated but it was always like that and it will continue to be like that
who said im on my own? and i am in the field only not industryYou not understanding is part of the problem. This is not something you can start on your own; it never was.
im not trying to make a whole board from scratch, i gotta see first if itll work on fpga in a much much much smaller scale, and if it works, dont worry about the investors i have them alreadyThis is not a toxic environment.
Just that....your question doesn't make a lot of sense.
A very good friend of mine designs integrated circuits for Texas Instruments. 2 Masters degrees. And he is only part of the design team.
The people that actually oversees transferring that "design" into something that can be manufactured is a whole other team, of many people.
Actually building the things to end up on a circuit board is a whole other level of complexity.
