How do I make my wireless network visible so that I can connect one of my other computers to the network.

Use an ethernet cable between the router and computer (or use one of the computers which can connect wirelessly).

First have a look at the quick start leaflet which came with the router (or download the manual).

Basically you need to know the router's IP address and its login username and password (to the Router's User Setup Screens).

Once in go to wireless and tick Broadcast SSID, save changes and exit.

That's only going to give you the name and you already have that information the computer which is already connected. With that name, you can connect the other machine without displaying the SSID to the outside world.

Better to display the SSID, for various reasons.
