I'd like to know how well this PC would do when it comes to compatibility, high performance gaming, and if it can upgrade well for the future. I don't plan on doing any overclocking either.

That build can run the latest games from high-ultra settings but with playable FPS.. With high settings on the game, you can play games smoother.. Get a R9 270x OC version and and have your RAM to 8 GB..

I'd say learn how to OC and stay with the 270, because if you OC it it will perform the same as the 270x. Honestly, for that budget your build looks great. Overclock everything and it'll run most games you throw at it on high.

I agree with Agera One, we all know that you can overclock the R9 270 to get the same performace of the R9 270x. But what you're forgetting is you can also overclock the R9 270x, thus leaving the R9 270 behind. Get the R9 270x bro!
