[SOLVED] HP 280 G2 SFF Power Supply Adapter ?

Been trying to figure out how to get power from an ATX PSU to this board. I bought a adapter that was apparently meant for the boards on HPs, well it doesn't work. I have tested the psu to see if it works with the 4 3 pin (Clipside) with a wire, psu turns on. Also when I plug the old psu in the pc boots, so its just the adapter I'm trying to find so I can provide the power, the reason is I installed a 1060 and it needs power.

I came here because since this pre-build is old, and is proprietary, I at least wanted to see if someone had some info on this.

P.S. Im just using this PC as a Emulation machine.

Why not buy the proper PSU instead?

the reason is I installed a 1060 and it needs power.

All GTX 1060 GPUs need supplementary power via PCI-E, and the 75W they would get from PCI-E x16 slot isn't enough. Also, your MoBo comes from SFF build, where the PCI-E x16 slot may be capped at 50W instead. HP 280 G2 SFF was never designed to run GT 730, which is 38W GPU.

Appreciate the feedback, I was trying to go the budget route, but I will do the next best thing and purchase a new motherboard for the processor so I dont have to deal with workarounds on a OEM board.
