Question HP G62 Laptop with black spot in screen

I got this used laptop and it has a black spot with dead pixels in the screen, as you can see from the first 2 pictures the spot has grown a little bit. What could be the issue and or solution? I really appreciate your suggestions.

Yes there is no guaranteed method that works for dead pixels, my Fuji digital camera has some black spots on the LCD, all those dead pixels recovered themselves after one or two years.

You can either continue to use it or have it replaced.

If you decided to use it for a little longer, you can change to black theme so that spot is less visible.

That screen is broken, if the seller did not mention that issue, return it.

Yes, I guess I have to use it for now, I can't send it back,

I paid just $40 for the laptop from ebay and right now I'm not in the US so to ship it back will cost more than the laptop, screen is about $30, I guess I'll try to sell it.
