So my friend replaced her CPU fan because we all know the standard one sucks, after some time of trying to fix it we got and turned on the machine however the rear fan started to go really loud and there was no way of controlling it, even in the bios we had no control. And here comes the best one if you plug the fan out of the system it will shut down after 15 seconds which for me is the first time I have seen this.

Now she did order some new ones just to be sure because that tiny 92mm fan isn't the best thing, but I still wanna know whats the deal with this?

(PS sorry for my bad english)

.I suspect your Rear fan seems to be connected to the cpu fan header on your motherboard instead of sys_fan header , switch the two connections and you will be fine

No am pretty sure we put it in the right one, because the top rear fan doesn't have a long cable to go even on the CPU fan header

The Bios on the HP is really really simple, and for the CPU the temps are really nice about 30 Celsius, its just that back fan.

Yep we tried all of it, and with still no luck. Its just confusing how the rear fan is so loud + if you unplug the header the computer won't boot.
