HP PSC 1350 Error Problem

Hello,
My HP 1350 All in One Printer does not open up on scan or print when I click on HP Director

Desktop Director, in my experience, is quirky and unrealiable. I spent 3 hours on the phone with HP support trying to solve this problem even though the Desktop Director reported that the printer was ok. We never found the solution and the printer was replaced.
