[SOLVED] Hybrid vs PWM fan headers ?

How do you differentiate between a "hybrid" fan header and a "PWM" fan header? I was looking at the MOBOs on gigabyte website where they do not mention the type of fan header. So how do I identify it visually?

Visually - there isn't any way. They look the same as regular PWM headers.

You go into BIOS and see, if there are options to change fan control mode from PWM to Linear DC control.
If there is such an option, then you can connect both 3pin and 4pin pwm fans to it.
