I use my computer primarily for illustrating and video editing. The work time takes longer than what I want since I intend to use this computer as a hobbyist's machine and need to be able to make high resolution files and videos relatively quick.

Specs:
Monitor: 25inch 1440p 60HZ
Processor: Ryzen 5 1600 6-core 3.2 GHz
RAM: OLOy DDR4 8GB 3000MHz CL16
GPU: XFX rdeam RX 570 RS XXX Edition 1286MHz 8GB GDDR5
Storage: 256GB Sabrent NVMe M.2 SSD (main)
1TB Seagate external hard drive (used to store files)
MB: MSI B450 A PRO MAX
PSU: EVGA GD 600 watt 80+ gold
CoolerMaster Masterbox Q500L Case

I use Clip Studio Paint, OBS and CyberLink Power Director 18
I record in 1440p with a bitrate around 70000 and usually for an hour to 2 hours on OBS.
My work space in Clip Studio is on a 1440 x 2560 canvas with an image res of 2880 x 5120 and 1200dpi. I would want to make the resolution larger (for 4k) but when doing so and using custom brushes, the strokes lag.
But I can work in 2k res for now. Not a priority.
Video rendering an hour long mp4 file down to 1-2 minutes (sped up time lapse) takes about 40 minutes. I would want to bring this down to at most 5 minutes.
I was looking at the 3950x and had in mind upgrading to 32 gb of ram , I'm just not comfortable with the quality for price aspect of these things so if you can give me value recommendations. Not trying to go all out on the 3950x but let me know of any recommends beyond my current cpu and ram.
Thank you for showing interest in reading this and responding.

A more value friendly option would be the Ryzen 7 3700x, with 32gb of DDR4 3200, followed by the 3900x. What motherboard do you have? That can limit your options too. A board might be compatible, with say a 3900x, or 3950x, but it might not last long, with heavy use. The 3700x, being a 65w CPU, is far less likely to have issues, in that regard.
