When I play any game like Rainbow Six Siege I frequently get fps drops to around 30 fps whenever I have spotify or youtube opened up playing music or just having a video in the background even if the video is in 144p. Any ideas on what to try would be much appreciated 🙏

Specs:
Cpu: Ryzen 5 7600x
Motherboard: Gigabyte Gaming X AX
Gpu: Zotac Gaming 2070 mini
Ram: G.SKILL Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB)
Psu: Thermaltake GF1 750W

You're not the first to complain about that. It might be R6's anti cheat.

What are other examples of your system sucking at multitasking?
Yeah now that I think about it I haven't played any hardware heavy games besides siege...

I'll test some other games out and see if it's a game side issue. Thanks for the tip ❤️

Free up another 30+GB of space on the ssd.

Looks like there is a newer driver for the gpu.
