Question I can't control my GPU fans anymore

So I'm using MSI afterburner for years and I could always change how much the fans should be spinning on my gtx 1060 6gb. But lately I just can't control my GPU fan speed. For example I set it on 60% speed and the fans start to spin at 60% speed and after like 5 seconds it slows down. Funny thing is the fans are always spinning at the speed so my GPU is between 79-81 degrees celsius. It's like my GPU fans are suddenly on auto and I can't change it. I changed my motherboard to B550 Arous Elite V2 a month ago and there was no problem at the beggining. I changed GPU on different slot, still nothing. Removed and installed again drivers for GPU, updated BIOS and still nothing.

Please if anyone has any ideas what is happening, it would help me a lot.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When you swapped your motherboard/platform,. did you reinstall the OS? Making sure to manually install all relevant drivers for your platform in an elevated command, Right click installer>Run as Administrator? What sort of ambient room air temps are you working with? Perhaps the cooler shroud needs some dusting/cleaning/maintenance? Reapply thermal paste?

Thank you for your welcome.

I didn't reinstall my OS maybe I should. I manually installed older driver for GPU and it still doesn't help. My room temperature is normal, not too hot, not too cold. I did clean it, but I haven't reapplied thermal paste on GPU, but I don't think that would make my PC unable to control my fans, but I shall try it.
