Question I can't overclock my cpu

Hello

I was trying to over clock my Core 2 duo 2.33 Ghz (it's outdated i know) the specific model is e6550 so i already overclocked it to 2.7 Ghz but when i go higher the pc goes black screen so i hard shut down it then i get overclocking failed or overvoltage error the maximum i can get is 2.77 ghz without issues but i want go higher and the bios is updated and the motherboard is P5QPL-AM specs:

Why you think you should be able to go higher? You already got 12% overclock, and I doubt you'll notice any difference. It is not just a CPU, but RAM, GPU etc.

it's actually above 20% of overclocking and i just want to be at the limit and be stable and my temps are cold (30c idle - 50c full load) so i just want to be at 3.0 Ghz that will be fine
