Hi everyone,

my first post here and I hope somebody can tell me who to do that Nvidia SLI config or just tell me it does not work.
I searched for hours now and I got different information about whether it works with my setup or not - but up to now, I don't get it running.

Maybe there is someone who knows about GPUs then me :)

I have a Fujitsu CELSIUS R940n with two NVIDIA Quadro K2200 graphics cards. The cards are recognized in BIOS and I can see both running in the task manager (it is Windows 10 Pro 1909 installed). However, when I play a game, only one graphics cards gets up to 100% and the other one just doesn't care.

This is pretty much my cards: https://www.amazon.de/NVIDIA-Quadro...rds=nvidia+quadro+k2200&qid=1582366928&sr=8-7

I know I have to setup SLI, but the NVIDIA Configuration Center does not show that option. As far as I know, this has something to do with the system not recognizing the SLI capability.

So my question is now, did I do something wrong in the setup?

This is my mainboard PCI part:

And this is the plan for it:

As you can see, the first GPU is installed in SLOT6 and the second one in SLOT3, both connected to CPU 0 (the only CPU in that computer).
The GPUs apperantly do not have a SLI connector, so I assume that should be working via the PCIx16 slots.
The cards are both recognized as you can see here: https://ibb.co/pnv0MMn

I hope you can help me - send my any questions you have.

Thank you in advance,
teha

I don't know much about SLI, except for how bad it is and how many problems it creates but, I do know that it needs the SLI connector to work.
If you simply put the cards in the system, you only use the one that your monitor is connected to (when gaming at least) and the other one just sits there.
There are sone things you can do with the second GPU without the connector but it applies only to some programs/applications.

Thank you for your answer. Is there any kind of "software" SLI, like a "virtual SLI cable"? I found some really old software (was kind of popular at the time) but there seems to be no similar alternative, right?
