So I have a Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF running Windows 7 that contains an Intel i3 processor. I really want to insert a graphics card into it so I can enable effects like Windows Aero. I only use the computer for programming and browsing the web, and I have a spare 1050 Ti and I want to know if it'll fit and run inside the 3020.
Buying another card isn't really an option, so will the 1050 ti fit?

Solution
Yeah, like punkncat said, a standard model won't fit. Moreover, it's very possible that your PSU won't be able to handle it. Brand-in-a-box PCs tend to have just enough of a PSU to get away with for the components that the PC has. They don't want you to upgrade, they want you to buy another PC from them.

So you have both parts...what is stopping you from just trying if they fit?!
It's very hard to look up dimensions of locked down dell parts and 1050ti's come in different sizes as well.

I didn't want to waste time opening it up and trying to force the card in there unless I knew for a fact it would work, but thanks anyway

Short answer, probably not.

Unless you specifically ordered a half height one slot card it probably will not have room. The half height alone is a very obvious bracket which would be easy to tell alone. The one slot will be the room between the motherboard and the power supply in those units.
