Hello . I have a big issue here. I unplugged by mistake the pump ( I suppose ) its the 3pin which I put in the CPU fan. I have a h100 v2
After 10 seconds i recognise that i unplugged the wrong thing , i tried to plug it back but after like 10 seconds my pc just shut down completly , I didn't plugged it back!.
I tried to push the start button several times .
I tried to unplug the PSU and plug it back , nothing.
I unplugged my video card , nothing
I unplugged all the ram , nothing . Tried also with a stick of ram out of 4 to see if smth happends again nothing.
I tried to unplug the huge connector from PSU on the mboard and also the 8 pin , nothing
I tried to get the cpu out and put it back , also I assure you that there is not a small of a burn component , and i think that it's ridiculous that my cpu would have burned in 20 seconds with no pump (it run 30-40 in idle 60-70 full load).
I tried to get out the h100 connectors from the board and it still didn't load.
I tried to get the battery out let it 1 minute , still no sign of life.
As PSU , I have a Antec 1200W PSU , it resisted several shutdowns even when the circuit breaker poped or things like that.
If the PSU it's the problem that's not an issue , but what if it is the Mboard or the CPU . 🙁
I'm very confused how would a 3pin could do that much damage. Also the little white light on my 1070 ROG gpu (that means its getting power) it still lights up. Also I had a usb light thingy I plugged that in usb3.0 and it's lights up. But the Keyboard or mouse doesn't.
I also had the thing in bios idk how it was called but when the cpu reaches 90 it shuts down for protection. . Please if someone knows what's happening please let me know. Thanks!

First - you shouldn't be plugging/unplugging anything inside your pc, while it is on.

When you unplugged pump, water flow stopped, cpu block heated up rapidly and thermal event caused system shutdown.

Reconnect everything, wait until cpu block cools down and start your pc normally.

I know I shouldn't that was clearly my mistake . So you're saying that it shouldn't have been done any damage to the system , it's just a temporary problem.

Still doesn't boot after 6 hours+. Tried a new CMOS battery and tried to use a jumper on the 2 pins , still doesn't boot.
What i tried was to see if the PSU is working , and it actually is . I tried to bridge the green and black wire of the psu and the fan started . But when i put it back on the pc , it still doesn't boot up. So what do you think it is the mboard / cpu? I still can't understand how would have break it that fast? I see people using just the a heatsink without fans and the pc can run even for 10 minutes . Mine didn't resist 20 seconds on watercooling...
