No, these specs are a starting point for a build I plan to do. If you having a suggestions and are a flight simmer, I am all ears. My focus is on DCS, PD3 and MSFS 2020,

I only said that because your list of parts looked exactly like what would come out of a retailer like CyberPowerPC.
Unlisted make/model of certain things, like the PSU and RAM.


For your SSD?
The above mentioned WD is just fine. Or something from Samsung or Crucial.
Among the good quality drives, there isn't a lot of gameplay difference in each PCIe band.

I would strongly recommend against an Intel build until the 13th/14th Gen fiasco is settled, particularly the i9. Additionally, if you are simming, especially MSFS2020 I cannot recommend AMD's X3D processors enough. 2020 has a real affinity to the gobs of cache these things possess, so the X3D parts almost always outperform even the highest end Intel stuff in this particular application. My recommendation is to sub in a 7800X3D and associated motherboard in for the Intel stuff, everything else looks decent for your chosen performance level and resolution.

Thank you sir. I am new to this forum, sourcing/specifying parts, amd building a gaming system in general. I have purchased pre-built systems in the past, but thought I'd give this bespoke approach a try. Simply put I'm a newbie, and open to the wisdom of the community. I am very open to AMD's X3D processors. Looking over your specs, may I ask when did you build your system? Are you a flight sim hobbyist? And would you make any revisions to your specs?
