I need advice on choosing the right laptop

Hi guys, I currently have a dated laptop and would need to make an upgrade but don't have the knowledge to choose the right model.
I would need a laptop with a very good cpu (as many cores as possible) and very good ram(between 32-64). The graphics card is not important.
My budget is 2.5k/3k, do you know of any laptops with these specs?
I know a desktop is ten times better, but I prefer the versatility of a laptop. In addition at this time I have no space in the house.

Country is somewhat important when looking at laptops. I can find a US computer in Dollars, but the same offering may not be available elsewhere. If Euro, the specific country would be helpful.

Still, I would just look at Dell Precision mobile workstations, Lenovo Thinkpad P, HP Z Mobile Workstations and the like.
