Hello, I have a EVGA 680i SE (122-CK-NF63) mother board and I need to know how to update the bios of of a CD. This is the first time I have ever done this so please make it simple as possible.
Oh, and by the way I have Windows XP Home Edition currently installed.

This is what it says on www.evga.com

Use a CD Burning software to burn the .iso image onto a blank CD (Nero, Alochol 120%, etc)
Restart machine, and set the CD Drive as the primary boot device
The BIOS flash process will begin, Press “Y” to program BIOS
After flash remove the CD, power off PC Completely
Turn on the PC and load defaults in BIOS

In case you don't know.. to set the CD as the primary boot device you need to go into bios.. otherwise consult you manual or the above link to EVGA.com

Hope this helps.

I used the Windows approach (no Floppy or CD required). EVGA posted instructions, you need a piece of software installed but it went very smoothly and I have the latest Bios.
