Question I want to install Windows 8.1 (DPS OEI) on my new SSD

I bought my computer around 3-4 years ago at a store that builds custom PCs. I want to keep only Windows on the SSD and some programs on it and all the other programs on my old harddrive.
How do I proceed to install Windows on my new SSD? I got the disk for Windows 8.1 DSP OEI.

There’s no transferring programs you’d have to reinstall them on your new operating system

You can't do "some" automatically.

You could do a clean install of the OS and 'some' applications on the new drive
Wipe all partitions on the old drive, reformat, and install whatever other programs you wish on it.

For the install?
Disconnect all drives except the new SSD
Boot up from your Win 8.1 DVD, and install.
Then, proceed to install whatever applications you choose.
