Question I want to put HDD into PC beside SSD

I have SSD with Windows 11 (Samsung 870 Evo 250GB) and I want to connect my old HDD for storage. In HDD, there is Windows 7 so how to connect properly?

Also I'm not sure about HDD working good or healthy. I disconnected that HDD from old PC and there was OS crash, freeze, strange sounds (from HDD 99%) etc. So I am asking that should I put that HDD? Pleasere read carefully, my English can be bad.

Multiple physical drives is no problem.

You do need to fully wipe that HDD. All partitions.
But unless the drive is physically failing, this will work.

I'm sorry to hear about this. However, you can easily restore your data. There are a lot of platforms and services that might help you with that.

What does restoring data have to do wit this?
