Does this work for i5-7600k?

on description I saw it’s for 8th gen, but when I checked customer question and answers, it says it does.

As above, it is not supported. You can check for yourself on the motherboards webpage https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/All-series/PRIME-B360M-A/HelpDesk_CPU/

You really want a 200 series motherboard and the above is 300. A 100 series can work but requires the BIOS updating first and it is likely you won’t be able to do the update with your cpu installed. If you want to overclock your k cpu you need either a Z170 (might need BIOS update) or a Z270.
