I7 for $100 more?

So I have a very simple question...

Is the i7-3770K worth the extra $100.00 over the i5-3570K?

I feel like the extra $100.00 isnt worth it but I would like others opinion on this please

if you are going to use it for gaming the answer is no

but,
if you are going to use it for heavy image or video editing or even 3d rendering then the answer is yes
