Should I get one, or should I stick with my original decision to get a megahalem for 70$. IT will be used to cool a 945 oc'ed as high as i can get it. (95W)

In a cooler master 1000 case

I've been to frosty tech, so I know what's food as a cooler. I was wondering about the values of those prices (more so on the 9700, is it a good enough cooler, for that cheap price, i know its kinda old)

No actually it was Off Xoxide's going out of business sale and since I was going to get a fan controller (the one I wanted Newegg didn't have, sunbeam windmill), so I decided that I'd look at the CPU coolers. They had a core contact but Sold Out so all they have now is the 92mm version.

I like the core contact for everything except its looks (not ugly just not nice looking either) but that's not important.

And why It wasn't on my cooler comparison (true vs megahalem) was because it wasn't the "best air cooler"

but Now that the 9700 is sold out, i think i will get it, since it is a good cooler and lost of people like it.

xoxide has some great prices up, like the $28 9700led... which is sold out. I actually found 3-4 different coolers at great prices that were all sold out : (

If you can get a zalman 9700 for less than $30, i'd jump on it. Frys had them last year 4th of july for $20, so I got 2 and foolishly sold one of them. I tried to buy a 2 year old 9700 from this guy off craigslist and he thought I was smoking crack for offering him $20 for it LOL.
