Howdy all. I'm looking for a way to setup a user account in Windows XP
Professional so that it will ignore (disregard, override, or what have
you) the desktop shortcuts placed on that user's desktop courtesy of the
"All Users" desktop folder. Any thoughts?

One way that comes to mind is to simply move all those "All User\Desktop"
icons to the "Administrator (Computer administrator)\Desktop" to at least
preserve them on the system.
Not the most elegant of ways to do it, I agree, but failing some 'standard
way' of doing it in XP it would work.
Just a thought.
