Troubleshooting
I was upgrading my CPU today from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 9 3900X. Before installing the new CPU I had to update my BIOS from the old MSI bios to the MSI Click Bios. The issue is now I am stuck in an infinite loop of booting the PC up, getting to either the BIOS or Select Boot Device screen. I have the MSI Krait Gaming B350 Motherboard
I know for sure I have selected the right Drive too boot from, I have also tried a clean install with the Windows Creation Tool on an USB.
If I try to boot from the BIOS it turns off, eventually turns on again and sends me back to BIOS if i press DEL.
The BIOS is fully operable with peripherals.
If i instead enter Select Boot Device screen by pressing F11 it simply freezes completely upon selecting anything but the go to BIOS option.
I have also tried taking the Motherboard CMOS battery in and out.
These problems occured both on the new and old CPU.
Help would be greatly appreciated as I have both school and work on my PC that I need asap. If any vital information has been left out I will happily answer.
