Hello,

I have obtained as surplus a number of old 10baseT j3202a switching
hubs along with the management module j3210a.

These hubs are working. I have managed to get a ascii session going
with the management module but as expected the module is requireing a
login "username" and probaly a password but I have not got that far
yet.

I have downloaded the documentation from www.hp.com but that does not
help to much for this problem.

I wonder if there is anybody out there that may have some knowledge on
accessing the management module via some default settings? Or maybe a
method of "restoring to factory defaults"?

Any help appreciated.

Please respond to my email address vk3jma@net2000.com.au

Many thanks

Mark

Check the manual:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/j3210001.pdf

You can clear the password by pressing the Segmant Display button on the
management module for 8 seconds.
