Insert Windows XP CD?

Hey hey, need help. Just hooked my computer back up after it being packed away for a few days... I added 1gig of ram, and a new LCD monitor. Problem is, when I turn on my computer... at the "Verifying DMI Pool Data" Screen, I get a message "Insert Windows XP Boot CD and press Enter" well... number one this has never happened before, so I have no idea why it would. Number 2. I don't have a Windows XP boot CD or Windows XP CD at all for that matter. I can't create a boot floppy on another system because all my other systems dont have a floppy drive. Can anyone tell me why this is happening, and/or tell me how to fix it?. I really want to start gaming again. Thanks.

Copy a friends XP disk, of the same version you had.
It will work with your auth #

Nobody that I know has a Windows XP CD. What about creating one from another computer just on the install? Just the booting option I mean.

I have never seen it either. Was that exactly the message said or it's like 'Insert system disk...' or something like that?

Sounds like the OS was never completely installed in the first place.. post back the exact error.

Being packed away meaning that you moved? Something could have gotten bumped maybe, broken etc...

Double-check all cables/connections. Sounds like something may have gotten knocked loose, even if it looks ok.
