[SOLVED] Installing the 2700 Stock Cooler

Installing the stock cooler for AMD 2700 on a Gigabyte b450m ds3h. And the darn thing is a pain to get in, the backplate has this odd strip on it, and I was wondering if by removing this strip (its adhesive is only holding this strip onto the plate). I could get just a few millimeters of higher screw holes to help. Or am I compromising my system because that strip on the backplate was important?

The back plate screw holes should protrude from the back of the motherboard through the hole sin the motherboard alittle.

ok thanks, the diagonal screw is always to high to thread, probably need some force to get in
