Which build will be more suitable upgrade for my build and provide best gaming performance.

Also any other combinations or suggestions is much appreciated. Budget is ~50K INR

CPU: i5 9600K priced @23,000 INR
MOBO: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite priced @16,000 INR
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3000Mhz 8GBx2 CL16 priced @10,500 INR

TOTAL: 49,500 INR

Ryzen Platform Upgrade??

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X priced @19,000 INR
MOBO: Asus STRIX x470 -F GAMING priced @19,000 INR

Yes, it's just "silicon lottery", but the 2700 and 2700X have good track records for OC'ing. Both will reach 4.3Ghz as their ceiling (Turbo) and happily live at 4.1Ghz on all cores consistently. Keep in mind they do get hot; a lot in fact. So, this is to say, use the price difference on good thermal paste and go with the 2700.

Interesting dilema; I like your choices and I'll say right off the bat you'll be happy with both options.

That being said and trying to help you a bit: current games are already using 6 cores consistently, so the Ryzen should age better than the i5 on that front. Currently, both are really good at pumping frames out reasonably fast, but the i5 edges out the 2600X and sometimes there's a huge gap for some titles in favor of the i5. The i5 OCs better and, on average, I'm sure will be better suited for games exclusively. For general purposes, the 2600X is better under the account that, I would imagine, you will have several things running in the background and even stream some; the 2600X has a clear advantage there (and proven here at Tom's not so long ago) thanks to SMT. You can also go with a cheaper MoBo with the 2600X, as long as it has proper VRMs (for OC) and recent BIOS upgrades. Asus is always a top choice in this regard; their mid-range Deluxe MoBos are killer deals.

If I may suggest and your budget allows: go for a 2700X if you're on the fence with either option. Also, make sure your CLC has the correct mounting for the AM4 socket.

EDIT: Forgot to mention; the i7 8700K is also a good option if budget allows! Just because it's "older", doesn't mean it's not better than the i5 9600K!

Yeah, that works as well, since the main difference between the 2700X and the non-X is the beefier cooler and the extra XFR ~50Mhz. You can still tell the MoBo to OC it to it's maximum available thermal room anyway.

Is this the best build or the previous one will be better, heard that 2700 won't OC as much as 2700X and it is based on lottery.

I5 9600k = 6 core 6 thread
R5 2600(x) = 6 core 12 thread
R7 2700(x) = 8 core 16 thread

To me, it's a simple choice of Which AMD I would pick.
In todays games, the older i5 (4 core) is starting to struggle. but the i7 still works because its 4 core 4 thread, but it is showing it's age.
At least with the AMD range, you are getting the extra Threads and cores for similar costs, as well as a Decent Cooler - so you don't need to buy that either.
Which ever AMD you choose, you will be extremely happy with the purchase.

I will use Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut as my thermal paste, quick question should i invest the price difference in a better motherboard or just stick with the G.Skill RAM??
 
The Ryzen family likes fast RAM; that's a simple and easy to understand fact. The better your RAM timings and speed is, the better Ryzen will behave. So, this means that MoBo is absolutely tertiary over Temperatures (1st in my opinion) and RAM speeds (2nd). That is also why I said you did not really need an expensive MoBo at all. If you have some extra money to spend, then use it on better RAM. As for what makes a better RAM... You want a balance between tight timings and Hertz; the usual RAM you see in Ryzen systems built for performance is 3200Mhz CL15 (there's CL14, but that is expensive as hell), so the one you have selected fits the bill nicely.

Look for 3200Mhz Ram Speed - you may see its the same or similar cost (and it's better)
