Question Internet doesn't like my pc

Hello!

A little bit of background, I have one ethernet/internet (don't really know which to use) cable that comes to my room, bought a hub, and connected 2 laptops and pc. Laptops work fine, haven't had problems. The pc worked fine for a few days and stopped, it sends and receives something (I can see that in the "Ethernet Status") but no internet.

Looked up everything on how to fix, videos, forums... nothing.

For two weeks been living on mobile data connected with USB, but the mobile data latency is awful. So I had an idea, whereas the ethernet works with my laptop I enabled Mobile Hotspot and connected to it with my phone. Form the phone further to pc with USB. 5 minutes and my laptop ethernet stops working. The same problem as my pc sends some and receives, but no internet connection.

It feels like the ethernet/internet is not allowing my pc to use it.

Can someone help, please...

P.S. Cables are fine and the ethernet/internet port is fine as well (I think... the lights are blinking).

P.S.S I live in a different place now due to school, but when I was home, the home ethernet/internet worked fine. So I suppose that the fault is with the ethernet/internet.

Thank you!

On the problem pc:

1) Run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt and post the results.

2) Run "tracert 8.8.8.8" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt and post the results.

Make and model: modem, router, hub?

"ipconfig /all":

Make and model: modem, router, hub? ANSWER:

I live in a dorm, the cable just comes from a wall. The cable then is connected to tp-link TL-SF1008D hub

Here is my understanding of the physical connectivity (line diagram):

College Router ---- Ethernet cable ----> wall jack ----- Ethernet cable ---> TP Link Hub ---- Ethernet cable x 3 --->
( being just one Ethernet cable to each: PC, Laptop #1, and Laptop #2).

On DESKTOP-J013VQQ (PC) disable Ethernet adapters 2 and 3.

Leave only the Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller enabled.

Also disconnect the PC from the mobile hotspot.

Reboot PC.

If the PC's connectivity is re-established and steady all should be well.

If not, run "ipconfig /all" on PC, Laptop#1, and Laptop #2

What DHCP Server address is shown for each device - 78.154.137.129 ?

Per your PM to me:

" Hi! Could it be some app, maybe Steam or Epic Games? When I put a new HDD in and turned it on, it also worked for a while, and I tried to login in one of those, maybe a
coincidence, but maybe the dorm internet has some block to some programs or sites. "

[Note: No PM's please. We need to keep everyone who may be following your post in the loop.]

That said:

To respond - yes indeed. There could be blocks. You will need to discuss that matter with the appropriate IT staff at your school.

Forum rules prohibit assistance with working around, bypassing, or otherwise attempting to hack through such blocks or restrictions.

I called the university IT department and brought my pc to them. After connecting to their network, the guy got a call that a pc with a virus is connected and that's why it blocked my connection.
He said something about cryptocurrency, that someone has changed their currency to cryptocurrency.
Also, they said that I need to reinstall everything and format my SSD/HDD.
